Program Structure

The program is 40 weeks, September to June, and follows the school calendar. We are closed on civic holidays and during school breaks. Classes that fall on holidays can be made up at any other location.

Our program is structured around the Learn Term Athlete Development (LTAD) program, recommended by Sport Canada. We evaluate student progress and development by using Armband Program that helps find and work on the gaps. To read more about different levels in fencing click here.

Group classes include the following: 5-7min warm-ups, 10-15min footwork, 10-15min bladework, 15-20min sparring. Private lessons are offered to the current members only and include one-on-one and semi-private 30 min lessons.
